Welcome to Helprlink Pte. Ltd. ("Helprlink", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Helprlink website, platform, and related services ("Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Services – Technology Platform Only

1.1 Platform Capabilities

Helprlink is an online marketplace and communication platform that enables domestic helpers, employers, and licensed employment agencies to:

  • Create profiles
  • Publish information
  • Browse listings
  • Initiate contact
  • Arrange interviews
  • Use automated tools such as scheduling, AI recommendations, and matching support

1.2 What Helprlink is NOT

Helprlink is not:

  • An employment agency under the Employment Agencies Act 1959
  • A representative of helpers, employers, or agencies
  • Involved in negotiations of job terms
  • Involved in work permit applications
  • Involved in placement activities

1.3 Services We Do Not Provide

Helprlink does not:

  • Shortlist or select helpers for employers
  • Recommend helpers as suitable or unsuitable
  • Negotiate salaries or employment terms
  • Facilitate signing of employment contracts
  • Perform screening, vetting, background checks, or credential verification
  • Handle any employment-related documentation

1.4 User Responsibility

All decisions relating to hiring, employment, suitability, compensation, and compliance are solely the responsibility of users.

2. User Responsibilities

Users (helpers, employers, and agencies) acknowledge that:

2.1 You Are Solely Responsible For

  • Verifying identity of other users
  • Validating experience, skills, credentials, and background
  • Ensuring accuracy of information they submit
  • Complying with MOM regulations, laws, and work permit rules
  • Negotiating job terms
  • Conducting interviews
  • Making hiring decisions
  • Signing contracts directly with each other

2.2 No Guarantees

Helprlink does not guarantee:

  • Employment outcomes
  • Job availability
  • Suitability of helper–employer match
  • Accuracy of information posted by users
  • Conduct or behaviour of any user

2.3 Legal Compliance

Users must use the platform in compliance with Singapore laws.

3. AI Matching and Recommendation Features

3.1 Non-Binding Suggestions

Any AI/ML tools on Helprlink provide non-binding suggestions only. They do not constitute:

  • Endorsement
  • Screening
  • Evaluation
  • Selection
  • Suitability certification

3.2 Independent Judgment Required

Users must exercise independent judgment.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Platform Usage Fees

Helprlink may charge platform usage fees to agencies or users for specific features or transactions.

4.2 Nature of Fees

These fees are not employment agency fees and are not tied to:

  • Placement
  • Screening
  • Negotiation
  • Representation

4.3 What You Pay For

All payments are for access to digital tools, visibility, communication functions, or usage of the platform.

5. Interview Scheduling and Communication Tools

5.1 Self-Service Tools

Helprlink provides self-service tools to help users:

  • Send interview invitations
  • Schedule meetings
  • Receive reminders
  • Communicate via the platform or integrated applications (e.g., WhatsApp API notification triggers)

5.2 No Direct Arrangement

Helprlink does not:

  • Arrange interviews on behalf of any party
  • Mediate timing or logistics
  • Negotiate on behalf of any user

Users are fully responsible for managing their own interviews and communication.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

6.1 Helprlink is Not Liable For

  • Mismatches or employment disputes
  • Termination or performance issues
  • Misrepresentation by users
  • Failed or cancelled interviews
  • Loss of data, income, or opportunities
  • Emotional distress or damages from employment outcomes

6.2 "As Is" Service

Helprlink provides the platform "as is" and "as available" without warranties.

7. No Employment Relationship

7.1 Independent Platform

Helprlink does not employ helpers or represent employers.

7.2 No Employment Created

No employer–employee relationship is created between Helprlink and any user.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Helprlink may integrate with:

  • WhatsApp
  • Google Calendar
  • Stripe
  • Firebase/Supabase

Such services are governed by their own terms.

Helprlink is not responsible for their performance, downtime, or data handling.

9. Account Suspension

Helprlink may suspend or remove accounts that:

  • Provide false information
  • Attempt fraud
  • Misuse the platform
  • Violate terms or laws

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
